Author Debra Ann Ristau's fourth book, Lodi on the Label from D & DR Books is scheduled for release May 15th to coincide with the fabulous ZinFest
in Lodi, CA. She is also the author of Promises Fulfilled: Fifty Years of Playing the Hills, published by The Donning Company Publishers, 2008, and The Dream Called Del Rio, also from Donning, 2007. The Ristau's live
in the heart of California where they enjoy time spent with family and friends. Marvin and Marguerite
Roberts were Debra's Godparents. They, along with her mother Joyce, taught her to ride and love horses. She is a former California
Rodeo Queen [Hostess] and garnered numerous awards as a junior, showing horses in western pleasure, equitation,
and stock horse competitions.

Joyce Renebome is Debra's mother and Monty's aunt. Her love and respect for her sister and brother-in-law, who were
like parents to her, gave her the courage to publicly tell the truth. Joyce is six months older than Monty
and spent much of her childhood in the Roberts home. Though Monty's real name is Marvin Roberts, Jr., even Monty credits Joyce
with his nickname, As a baby, she is the one who first called him Monty. Her much older sister Marguerite, and
brother-in-law Marvin, taught her to ride and show horses right along with Monty and his brother Larry. Joyce happily continues
her work as a commercial real estate broker and now lives in Manteca, California with her husband of
nearly 57 years, Pete. They enjoy travel and the Sacramento Kings.
